A visual walkthrough of building knowledge maps — from first node to connected graph.
Double-click anywhere on the canvas. A new node appears at that position, ready to be named and categorised.
Add multiple nodes and choose types from the sidebar — Concept, Factor, Outcome, Intervention, Actor, or Source. Each gets its own colour.
Select a node, click "Connect →", then click the target. Choose relationship types: causes, inhibits, entails, supports, and more.
Drag any node to reposition it. The edges follow automatically. Drag the canvas background to pan around your map.
Click any node to see its properties in the left panel. Change the label, type, and add a description. Click an edge to change its relationship type or add a weight.
As you add more nodes and connections, your map becomes a structured knowledge graph — relationships between concepts that can be stored, shared, and queried.
